Budget, reports, meetings, and headaches. That about sums up work for the last two weeks. No need to discuss any further.
Janice talked me in to going to see a psychic this weekend. Yes. A real live psychic. I’m sorry. She prefers to be called an advisor.
Why do I listen to Janice? Because she’s my best friend and I know that things will always be interesting with her. She said she wanted to know if this year is the end of her being single. She don’t wanna be …

I did the round up of blog highlights today for our local blogging community. As I was perusing a very long list of blogs, I found that there were lots without current posts.
I’m not talking a few days or even weeks here and there. I’m talking months and months. For some, almost a year.
Which got me thinking about what gets in the way of my own posting (and we all know it’s all about me).
Here’s my short list:

I have spent the month of March getting focused, clearing out old projects, and coming up with a plan. All that is great, but at some point, I have to actually do some work.
Which I did this week.

Warning: I sound like a complete dork, but don’t let that stop you from listening to my very first guest: Kelly Love Johnson- check her out when you get a chance.
I hope you like it. And if you know of someone I should interview (even if it’s you) send me an email and I’ll harass them until they say yes.

Overview from booksamillion:
In this follow-up to “Marked,” fledgling vampyre Zoey Redbird has settled in at the House of Night. But when she needs her new friends the most, death strikes, and Zoey must find the courage to face a betrayal that could break her heart and jeopardize her world.
So, book two had a more mystery, more drama, more growth in each of the characters. I can see why my daughter likes the series.
My rating: 3.9 out of 5

This is how I wanted to spend my weekend:
This is how I actually spent my weekend:
With periods of eating and sleeping.
Oh yeah, and I did get to put my butt in a chair and watch a couple of movies Saturday evening (after the first round of running around) and did NOT fall asleep. Yay me.
Sunday was more of the same (but to a lesser degree).
Today- back to the grind.
Just like everybody else.

The stress at work is becoming so unbearable that I find myself snapping at any and everything. Short fuse does not even begin to describe what is going on with me. When I’m not doing battle with the Boys Club or wondering why some of my managers can’t seem to manage their way out of a brown paper bag, I stare out of my office window at the awesome view that is the parking garage.
As cars wind their way out of the garage, I imagine that …
