Picking Up Speed

834002_nospeedUnplugging (aka- down time, de-stressing, me time, whatever) is pretty important to me these days.  I’ve learned over the past few months that going, going, going simply means that I’m tired, irritable, and crotchety (yes- I said crotchety).

This weekend I ended up unplugging by accident.  I mean, I didn’t plan on doing it, it just happened.  And I liked it, so I kept it up.  Except, now I’ve got to get back to work, and I’m a little slow going.

Which is one of the reasons that I don’t unplug.  Once I stop moving, I realize how much I like being a slug, and then I have a hard time getting things jump started again.  It’s a never ending cycle. Sigh.

I’ve finally shifted gears from my sluggish weekend, and am steadily picking up speed.

Just got to remember to pace myself, or I’ll stall out again sooner than I wish.

I hate when that happens.

I am slow moving at the beginning of every week. Hence, why I really don’t blog or anything until Wednesday. The weekends i try to cherish because I am like a torpedo during the week from Wednesday until Friday.

    Tomorrow you’ll be better.

I feel like I’m moving underwater this week. And I have a ton of things to do. I hate that. Sigh.
