Monday Blues
My Mondays usually start off pretty much the same. I get The Girl up and out of the house, make a cup of tea, watch Good Morning America while writing out my week-long To Do list, and then I begin to actually whittle down the list.
No big deal, right? Everybody does it.
Except this week The Girl is on spring break, and I have no idea what we are going to do this week. So far, I’ve come up with the following:
- movies
- the driving range
- grabbing our cameras and heading downtown as if we were tourists
That’s it. After that, I got nothing. And to be honest, the activities I came up with can be done on the same day (or at least in a day and a half). Just great. What about the rest of the week?
And don’t give me the “ask your kid” speech. I did. She’s about as interested in hanging out with me this week as she is in a root canal. To The Girl’s credit, I think she feigns much of the teenage ambivalence- she is an actress, after all.
And I still have to get some work done as well.
It should be interesting.

Hey, bring her with you to the monthly 21st Century Photography meeting this Wednesday evening. Eat some Greek food. Enjoy the Show & Tell and/or bring 15-20 of YOUR favorite shots to share. Make half The Girl’s pictures and half yours.
You joined a few months ago…come meet the gang. They’re a fun, creative group.

Hey Chuck- that’s a great idea. She will love it. See you on Wednesday.
