I have just spent 6 of the last 8 and a half hours plotting my WIP. Yep, while The Man was putting up shelves to help reduce the piles of books on the living room floor, I was letting my creative juices flow.
Hmm.  Umm.  What I mean is, the story that I have been mulling over for the last few days started coming together in my head in a very real way.
Usually, I know how a story begins and ends.  I sit down to write, and I assume that the …

As holidays go, Independence Day is a good one.  And while I usually lay low during the holidays (not a big fan of hustle and bustle), I will be mulling over what Independence means in my personal and professional life.  And drawing up a plan.
Why think about something if you aren’t going to do anything about it?

I’m going through some things.  
Took The Girl to Virginia last weekend.  She won’t be coming home in August as usual.  She will be starting high school in VA in the fall.  Much better schools and living year round with her dad for the next four years. Shared parenting in action.  I am now the “holiday/summer” parent.  I never thought I’d say these words, but – It sucks!  I miss her terribly.
Work is work.
