E-readers are my latest obsession. Words on the go. In a compact device. I don’t have to pick one or two books that will easily fit into my bags- I can take tens of them where ever I go.

I found InkyGirl a little over a month ago, and I really love her stuff.

It’s my official Blogiversary.
One year ago today, Suzanne called me and told me to check out my new website.
I fell in love instantly. I had been blogging before, but not like this. This was a whole ‘nother level, and way more fun.
I’ve learned a lot in the past year, and I intend to improve and grow in the coming year.
I hope you’ll stick around for the ride.

I am passionate about so many things: reading, writing, social justice, bad-ass boots, and finding great desserts. And those are just drops in the bucket.
Last night while yelling at the television during the local news, The Man turned to me and suggested that I run for office.

He floored me mid-rant. Only because not 24 hours earlier, I had the same thought. I just hadn’t gotten around to expressing it to him.

Me after boot camp on Friday.
Actually, I couldn’t move my arms.
ALL WEEKEND.
Seriously, I cannot describe the amount of pain I experienced in the aftermath.
Feeling better now.  Will get back to writing today.
I will not complain about running again.
At least until the memory of boot camp soreness and inability to move arms wears off.

I did not bulldoze my site.
I got rid of some stuff and moved some other stuff around.
It’s kinda like when your mom would get pissed and she would make you help her rearrange all the furniture  in the living room.  OK- maybe my mom was the only one to do that.
