So, this was my home away from home for the last week.  I had a great time, motion sickness, and all.  Drove back from Miami yesterday (10 hours of hell- I’m sure you’ll be reading a story about it someday), and instead of unpacking and settling back into the idea of being at home, I went out for breakfast, saw a movie with The Divas, and then went to dinner with The Man.  Not very productive in the writing realm.

So, I’m here on the ship.  And as you can imagine, it’s hard to stick to your regular writing/editing schedule while on vacation.  Add a touch of motion sickness (read that as vertigo and constantly feeling like you are going to vomit) and you can deduce that I have been less than productive.  But that is going to change- right now.  Really.  I mean it!

Due to packing and travel prep for my family vacation, I am unable to post today’s Fiction Byte (it needs editing, blah, blah, blah).  The 4th (and final) installment for Work In Progress will be posted on Monday, December 22.  I will resume my regular Fiction Byte posting on Friday, December 26th.  Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

I am a writer, reader, and avid movie goer.  And I love to see a movie on opening day.  I don’t want anyone’s opinion in my ear before I see a much anticipated flick.  So, this afternoon, I am going to see Twilight, along with my Diva Friends and the Divas In Training (The Man’s niece, my daughter, and my daughter’s friend).  I am so excited.  
My daughter introduced me to the series, and I in turn, told my book club about it.
