This is the third book in Jen Lancaster’s memoir series. It was typical Jen.
A good read if you are thinking about losing weight as a New Year’s Resolution.
I don’t make resolutions anymore, but that’s neither here nor there.

What’s A Reader To Do?

I am an avid reader. Or I should say that I used to be. In the past, it was not uncommon for me to read 6-8 books a month. As a single mom with a kick-ass job, no less.

Enough With The New Already…

I used the word “new” twice last week in post titles.
My new favorite thing and my new obsession.
A bit of overkill, I confess, but that is what happens when I get excited about stuff.
And I have to tell you, I have been excited about digital media for some time. I am in love with all things gadgety and portable.
Marry that with my love for the written word, and you can quickly surmise that I am now a bit giddy for e-books.
And I am. Not just reading them, but also writing …

E-readers are my latest obsession. Words on the go. In a compact device. I don’t have to pick one or two books that will easily fit into my bags- I can take tens of them where ever I go.

Books In The Bathroom

OK, so my friend T has more books than I can shake a stick at.  Her den will induce book envy in even the most die-hard bibliophile.  But the coup de’ gras is her guest bathroom.She has a bookshelf of an appropriate size loaded with cool reading material.
