It’s my official Blogiversary.
One year ago today, Suzanne called me and told me to check out my new website.
I fell in love instantly. I had been blogging before, but not like this. This was a whole ‘nother level, and way more fun.
I’ve learned a lot in the past year, and I intend to improve and grow in the coming year.
I hope you’ll stick around for the ride.

OK, so my friend T has more books than I can shake a stick at. Her den will induce book envy in even the most die-hard bibliophile. But the coup de’ gras is her guest bathroom. She has a bookshelf of an appropriate size loaded with cool reading material.

I went to the wedding of my former sister-in-law this weekend. This is her second marriage, and she looked REALLY happy. And the groom looked REALLY happy. And it made me think that sometimes when I go to weddings, neither party looks REALLY happy about what they are doing.

The big deal is that I don’t need a website makeover. I need to address the stuff in life that isn’t …

I am a HUGE Prince fan. Did I say HUGE? That probably doesn’t even begin to describe it.
For Christmas, The Man gave me a coffee table book detailing the Beloved Purple One’s career. No one can touch that book but me. Unless they are ready to die. And for the record, I don’t have a coffee table. A story for another day.
Before I hit the road this morning for a day of meetings in Columbia, I heard that the Prince Opus iPod was being released today. I couldn’t leave …

It was a rainy Saturday morning, and I was indulging in the relative peace and tranquility in my home (basically, The Girl was not up yet) while perusing some of my favorite blogs.
I decided to spend a little time reading the archives of a blog I discovered a couple of months ago, as I had only read the current posts.
And I fell into deep like.
So much so that I wanted to call up Afrogeek Mom and ask her to become my new BFF (or at the very least, please, …
